Varsity News Network increases exposure and recognition for high school athletes, and empowers students interested in media to gain experience in the field. In sports and advanced education, VNN pushes the boundaries in two of the most important areas to the high school experience. In the process, VNN helps schools raise money to support educational athletics.
We’re serious about supporting Michigan athletic programs, especially in their time of need. In fact, over Varsity News Network’s first year in operation, participating schools took home over $7,500 in revenue thanks to the support of local businesses advertising on their VNN website.
We’re just getting started, and we’re psyched about the future. Schools signed on for the 2011-12 season are primed to improve exponentially upon that number.
